Not meant to be :-(

Don't really know how to write this, so I'll write it how I think it & if it comes out a mess, then perhaps that's how my head is at the moment. :-(

After the cramping & spotting, I went to the doctor.

The bloods I got done 2 days ago came back at HCG (pregnancy hormone) level 158. Really good for that day - Monday.

Unfortunately the bloods I got done today - Wednesday - (to try to confirm everything was ok with Fuzzy, given the cramping & spotting..), came back at only 81. *cry *cry* cry*

The levels are supposed to double every 48 hours. Instead they halved.

No more Fuzzy :( :( :(

Yep, I'm counting every day!! haha.

Well I just went & had my appt with the GP this morning. How's this!??!! He sent me for bloods on Monday, yet he didn't even request a HCG level in the test, he just tested for everything else..! Rubella, etc etc. I was soo angry when he told me this morning... I was like WTF?? THAT is why I came to him!

But anyways, he called the lab & they could use the same bloods to test for the HCG so they did that very quickly and got the result back. The count was 158. He said anywhere between 150 and 1000 was good. Mind you that was only at 4weeks 2 days - so really early!

Anyway, since Lau was with me (Chad couldn't make it this morning) she referred me to the ladies clininc at Nambour that she went through when she was pregnant with her little boy, the beautiful Leverett.

They are pretty good. Not fantastic (given I could barely understand a word the lady was saying - Indian), but all in all I liked her. She seems positive given the count, and given those bloods were taken 2 days ago she requested more bloods today which she's going to rush through for me to get the result back this afternoon. They should have doubled.

Laura has her 'count bet' on 342, mine is 325 The number needs to be at least 306.

FINGERS CROSSED EVERYONE! :D :D :D

4 Weeks 3 Days

Same day (as below post).

Had some slight spotting this morning, freaked out. As you do. That combined with the cramping I've been having the past couple of days really freaked me. The cramping wasn't a major concern, that was, until the spotting started.

I've just been and had an Ultrasound done, but unfortunately it's too early to see anything, not even a sac. Sad face. I was holding on to the hope I'd see SOMETHING for some reassurance, but alas, nothing. As yet.

My bloods are due back first thing in the morning (I just called the Dr & asked him to rush them through) so I've got an appt with him first thing (9:45am) to discuss.

Praying everything will be OK.

Please lord, please keep Fuzzy here inside of me, growing, happily, healthily, and strong. Please lord.

Will update more in the morning. I'm sure I'll have GOOD NEWS! Got to remain positive. I've just been researching on the net and apparently spotting & cramping are quiet common this early in pregnancy, so that's a good sign. Especially considering the spotting is a brownish colour, and not red. They say that's old blood from implantation.

It's finally happened!! :)

Yep, I'm pregnant. Found out on Sunday. It's now Tuesday.

I'd been feeling a little 'off' for a day or so, and had had a nightmare headache that just would NOT go away - despite my 'Advil' efforts. It just wouldn't budge. Not like me at all. Usually I only have to take one of those things and it would be good immediately. Not this time. That combined with being 2 days 'late', let's just say I knew something was up. Something was brewing, little did I know. :-D

Since I'd run out of HPT tests, I decided to try my luck using the OPK's. Not one, but two. Just to be sure. ;-) I'd read somewhere earlier that week on the forum that this could be used as HPT's, because they pick up the LH hormone around the time of O, and if you're pregnant.

Anyway, did the thing (as you do..), came back not even 3 minutes later and both lines had come up nearly instantaneously!! *SHOCK* just didn't cut it at this point. I think I nearly ran out to Chad (Mel & Ken were at our place at the time - otherwise I think I WOULD have screamed!) and coaxed him in to the ensuite (where I'd done the tests) immediately. He was so excited. He kept telling me I was shaking, my whole body. I was. *sweet*

So there it is. After so long of trying, and thinking we would have to take that dreaded 'next step' to the FS, we don't! Couldn't be happier!!

I had bloods taken yesterday, they'll be back tomorrow. Then I have an appt with my GP at Nambour on Tuesday at 5:00pm to discuss the whole 'what next' scenario. Since I know nothing.

My EDD (estimated due date) is 13 March, 2010.
